Running Cuz it's Hard |
I signed up for the LA Marathon in March. It'll be my first.
I'm no stranger to running. I very much like the endorphin high after a good jog. But honestly, I run because I can, because I wasn't allowed to when I was a sick kid growing up and mostly, because it's hard. Over the next six months, I'll attempt running about 600 miles to train for the race. People say it'll take over your life. So, I'm documenting it -- the story, the runs, the fears and the fun -- in a podcast I'm calling "Running Cuz it's Hard." Join me and friends as I navigate training for a marathon. I'll post episodes here. Episode 3 - I Hate You, AsthmaEpisode 2 - Finding a Running GroupMusic in this episode is by BOPD, David Depper, and Jahzzar. You can find their music on FreeMusicArchive.org.

Tell me your food story
Food gathers friends and strangers. It builds trust. It mends broken hearts and most importantly, it tells a story about who we are. Help me find and tell stories about Southern California's diversity, current affairs and its backstory through the lens of food and the people who grow, make and share it with others. Let's visit home kitchens, backyard BBQs, restaurants, soup kitchens, farms and ranches, and talk about our relationships with food.
I promise to keep your responses confidential. I will not publish what you share without your permission, which means you may get a call or email from me.
